Who is Riley Socks
Riley Socks is based on Riley Allen. At 18 months of age, Riley was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer called DFSP (Dermatofibrosarcoma Protuberans).
As a result, she endured one year of biological chemotherapy, a 12-hour surgery and one year in a leg brace.
During her surgery, a large tumour was removed, and her right leg was reconstructed from the knee down.
A skin graft now covers her leg, and Riley wears a protective sock over the surgical area.
Published in 2009, Riley Socks is a children's book written by Riley's mother, Leahanne Allen. This book of hope and resilience is dedicated to Riley and all those children who have walked or are currently walking this path.
You Are Stronger
You are stronger is a message to remind you and those who read it that no matter the challenges or obstacles, you have the strength to overcome them. It’s a symbol of resilience, faith, and the belief that with God’s plan, there’s always a purpose and a reason. You are stronger than what is, and as long as you believe it, you will be.
The Sleeve
The Cozy Motivational Elephant Hoodie offers more than just comfort. Delicately embroidered in bold lettering on the right sleeve is a message of resilience and strength.
As you wear it, the words become a silent mantra, easily readable to you alone: "I am tough. I am strong. I will get better and live long."
This empowering message aims for whoever's wearing the hoodie to read it and feel inspired to keep on going.
With each wear, let this empowering message remind you of your inner strength and determination to overcome any challenge life throws your way.
"This mantra was something my mom would always say to me during my stay at the hospital. I hope that those confronting illness will find comfort in these words just as I did." -R.A

The Elephant
An elephant in the room is said to bring good fortune and protection. They are known for shattering potential problems and overcoming barriers, particularly during trying times.
Elephants represent wisdom, long life, memory, and vitality. They are among the longest-living animals on land and are highly significant in many cultures.
Most importantly they represent facing obstacles and clearing them from your path.
Hope Air
Riley Socks Apparel (RSA) recently made an incredible impact by raising $3,800 for Haul for Hope, an initiative organized by Hope Air, a lifeline providing free flights to families across Canada who need medical care far from home.
RSA rallied with a dedicated team of 10, pulling a 76,000 lb airplane 100 meters—a powerful show of strength and commitment to helping those in need.
Since 1986, Hope Air has arranged over 162,000 travel solutions, bridging the distance between home and hospital for countless Canadians.
This was an outstanding accomplishment for RSA, and we’re proud to continue supporting causes like this, donating 5% of every sale to help make a difference in the lives of families across the country.
RMHC Toronto
This December, Riley Socks Apparel (RSA) hosted a heartfelt ‘Buy One, Give One’ campaign to bring joy to families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Toronto. Through this initiative, customers had the chance to purchase a product and buy a second one at 40% off, which we set aside as a special donation.
On December 23rd, we delivered all the donations to the Ronald McDonald House, where the staff distributed them to families staying there. Thanks to the generosity of our customers, we donated 8 cozy hoodies, 25 pairs of socks, and 5 books. To make the season even brighter, we added some chocolates and gingerbread men for the children to decorate and enjoy.
It was truly heartwarming to be part of spreading holiday cheer and supporting families during a challenging time. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this initiative a success!
